PEEPS® RICE KRISPIES TREATS™
PEEPS® RICE KRISPIES TREATS™ (microwave alternative recipe below)
Ingredients
- 40 PEEPS® Marshmallow Chicks (Assorted Colors)
- 4 TBS butter
- Sprinkles (optional, but encouraged)
- 4 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® Cereal
Directions
1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat.
2. Add PEEPS® Marshmallow Chicks and marvel at their puffiness until they are completely melted. *Do not stir yet!
3. Remove from heat and add Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® Cereal.
4. Gently fold cereal into PEEPS® Marshmallow until it’s evenly coated and swirl together.
5. Coat 11 x 8 x 2-inch pan with cooking spray (trust us.) Evenly press mixture into the pan.
6. If you have sprinkles, add them!
7. Allow to cool completely then cut into 2-in squares. Or get wild with cookie cutters!

Note: Use extreme caution when heating PEEPS® Marshmallow; they may be hot. Handle with care.
ALTERNATIVE MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
1) In four separate microwaveable bowls, add 10 PEEPS® Marshmallow Chicks of each color with one tablespoon of butter.
2) Microwave for 30-45 seconds and marvel at their puffiness until they are completely melted.
3) Remove from the microwave and add 1 cup of Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® Cereal to each bowl.
4) Gently fold cereal into PEEPS® Marshmallow until it’s evenly coated.
5) Coat 11 x 8 x 2-inch pan with cooking spray (trust us.) Spoon dollops of each color into the pan making sure to not overlap colors.
6) Once all colors are added, gently pat down to form an even layer.
7) If you have sprinkles, add them!
8) Allow to cool completely then cut into 2-in squares. Or get wild with cookie cutters!
