Macaroons - Rice Krispies®
Sweet coconut-infused macaroons get extra crunch from Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal.
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup coconut
- 2 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1. In medium mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar gradually while beating. Fold in vanilla, coconut, KELLOGG'S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal and walnuts.
2. Drop by tablespoon on baking sheet coated with cooking spray or parchment paper lined.
3. Bake at 400°F until macaroons are a delicate brown.
Yield: 36 macaroons
