A classic, old-fashioned dessert packed with dates and walnuts.
- 3 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
1. In medium mixing bowl, combine KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal, baking powder, nuts and dates. Set aside.
2. In small mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly. Stir in sugar and milk. Add to cereal mixture, mixing until combined. Pour into 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray.
3. Bake at 400° F about 40 minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm or cold with whipped topping, if desired.
