Churros Rice Krispies Treats™ with Chocolate Sauce
Looking for something sweet? One serving of this crunchy treat will hit the spot.
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
- 1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
- 2 cups (about 2/3 of 8-oz. tub) COOL WHIP or COOL WHIP Extra Creamy Whipped Topping (Do not thaw.)
- 6 cups Kellogg's® Cinnamon Sugar Krispies™
1. Make It
-MICROWAVE butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. or until melted. Add marshmallows; toss to evenly coat. Microwave 1-1/2 min. or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 45 sec. Add cereal; mix well.
-PRESS cereal mixture onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Refrigerate 10 min.
-MEANWHILE, microwave chocolate and COOL WHIP in microwaveable bowl 2 min. or until COOL WHIP is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
-PLACE cutting board over pan, then flip pan over to remove cereal mixture from pan onto cutting board. Cut cereal mixture into 12 lengthwise strips, then cut each strip crosswise in half.
SERVE topped with chocolate sauce.
Prepare recipe using regular Kellogg's® Rice Krispies Treats® cereal and stirring 1 tsp. ground cinnamon into the melted marshmallow mixture before mixing with the cereal.
