Melted caramel gives Rice Krispies Treats® even more ooey-gooey goodness.
- 1 bag (14 oz.) caramels
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 4 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal
1. In heavy 3-quart saucepan, over low heat, melt together caramels and water,
stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in margarine. Add
KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal, mixing until cereal is coated.
2. Press hot mixture evenly and firmly into 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking
spray. Let stand until cool and firm. Store in airtight container.
