    Where to buy

1.  In large fry pan, cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned, stirring frequently. Drain off excess drippings. Add remaining ingredients except buns. Stir to combine, cutting tomatoes into pieces with spoon. Cover fry pan. Simmer over low heat about 15 minutes. Serve on toasted buns.

I remember the first time my oldest son ate his first rice krispie treat, he was a little over six years old. He was a sick little boy from just a baby and was unable to digest foods, when he turned 6 he went through major surgerys so that he could finally eat. When he came home from the hospital he had to have mushy stuff, we tried everything, until we found vanilla rice krispies. Vanilla rice krispies quickly became the only thing he would eat that he didn't get pain from. So one day i decided to make krispie treats, it was a day i will never forget. He sat down beside me, grabbed a piece so big he could barely hold on to and smiled from ear to ear, he had never even tasted a marshmallow before, his eyes lite up and all he could do was smile. When he was done with what est managed to eat he looked up at me and said " your the best mommy in the world, only you could make me something this good". And all I could do was smile, trying not to cry.
