Where to buy
1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
2. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.
3. Using buttered spatula or wax paper, evenly press mixture into 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool slightly. Using cookie cutters coated with cooking spray cut into musical instrument shapes. Decorate with frosting and/or candies. (Or, use round cookie cutters coated with cooking spray to cut into 2-inch circles. Stack two circles on top of each other and decorate as drums.) Best if served the same day.

Note:
For best results, use fresh marshmallows.
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow crème can be substituted for marshmallows.
Diet, reduced calorie or tub margarine is not recommended.

I remember when I had my first rice krispie square. I made it with my mother, and to this day I remembr sneaking marshmallows out of the mix. I have carried on with this tradition with my family, and I still sneak some marshmallows out of the pot. my son says that he does this with his new family also. JUst be careful how many marshmallows you eat!
