This story is almost too poignant to tell, but it's true. Almost thirty years ago members of my extended family had lost everything, were out of work, and were living in a camper. They traveled around, staying in one town for a few days, parking in shopping centers at night. They needed grocery and gas money, so they decided to make a huge batch of Rice Krispie Treats in the camper, and shape them into snowmen. The first day their ten year old son was able to sell the whole batch in front of the grocery store. So the next day they made another batch, and that was their income that whole winter.
