    Why use Kellogg's® Rice Krispies®?

As the first crisped rice cereal, Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® has been bringing families together in the kitchen for over 80 years.

To experience the timeless flavor, make your Rice Krispies Treats® squares with the original Rice Krispies® brand cereal.

    Where to buy

1. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

2. In large electric mixer bowl, beat together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour mixture, mixing until combined. Stir in KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal and chocolate chips. Drop by level tablespoon onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray.

3. Bake at 350° F about 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove immediately from baking sheets and cool on wire racks. Store in airtight container.

Here in Australia Rice Krispies are called Rice Bubbles. They are a family favourite and Rice Bubble Treats are often a feature at birthday parties but we have always called them Chocolate Crackles. Birthday parties are simply not complete without them- and the adults love them just as much as the kids! The best Chocolate Crackles are those made with real chocolate rather than Cadbury Cocoa. A friend invented them by accident but we all adore them.
